Three simple yoga stretches to help your riding posture


I love how yoga not only centers my thoughts and brings calmness to my day but also takes away the aches and pains after a long training ride or a competition.

There are many yoga sequences and poses that are wonderful for horse riders not only for strength but also to improve your riding posture. My top three poses are:

Downward Dog - great over all stretch for back, calves and neck

Child's pose for upper back and neck

Cobra for spine and posture

Cobra pose

Downward dog
